This program is a complete introduction to the Y14.5M-1994, Y14.5-2009, and Y14.5-2018 standards. The gap between designers and measurement personnel is closed. The concepts are introduced to both groups, from two different angles. Design and Inspection techniques are examined that will greatly increase knowledge of inspection methods.
This workshop will teach the fundamental aspects of GD&T to help the student understand and communicate the design intent of a part. In this technically advanced manufacturing world, this is vital to a successfully designed and manufactured product.
What is the difference between this 2-day class and our 3-day class? In both offerings the student is trained in important dimensioning concepts. However, the primary difference is the 3-day class affords the student opportunity to cover each topic in more depth with more hands-on application.
